Custom Bookmarks

There's something charming about a bookmark. I suppose because they are super easy to personalize yet can look very professional at the same time.

I decided to make these for my co-workers as Christmas gifts. Individualized to each of their personalities.

Add a jewelry pendant or charm for added personality!

Materials used:
Decorative scrapbook paper
Printer (used to print phrase or quote)
Decorative ribbon
Charms
Laminate

Ornaments

Before: A plain, paper mache ornament, ready for endless possibilities of decor!

After: A beautiful ornament ready to be hung on your Christmas tree.

As I was photographing the ornament, I decided it needed more beautifying, so, I added a nice ribbon. The ribbon pulls it all together completing the look.

That's one of the fun things when you're a crafter, you have boxes, bins, drawers full of craft items that you picked up from the store months ago, only to come in handy at the just right moment.
Here's one with copper paint and tiny embossing beads.

Materials used:
Paper mache ornament
Gold paint
Sponge Brush
Squirty fabric paint (applied for the dots)

Luminaries

Check out these awesome luminaries I made. I was so happy with their turnout. There's nothing more satisfying than thinking up a craft and have it turn out exactly how you imagined!

Ok, so I said they are luminaries but they look totally spectacular on their own. Also, I don't recommend using a regular candle inside. I love those LED tea lights. They are very realistic with total safety in mind. Especially if you're a busy working mom with the kiddies running around!

Materials used:
Fun foam board
Decorative paper
Glue gun
